A few changes.....

You'll notice that my "blogroll" on the left hand side of the page is now in a new format. Rather than an alphabetical listing of my favorite blogs, the roll is now set up in more of a "feed" format. As the 20 or 30 blogs to which I link update, their updates will be listed at the top of the roll.

I've also taken the opportunity to add a couple of links that I enjoy but have never linked to from this site. Take the time to check out some of these places. Most of the blogs and sites to which I link have edified, encouraged, or educated me. Some of the others have made me think, while there are some to which I link simply because they make me laugh!

I've also removed a couple of links.....mainly because, while their site still exists, they've stopped updating (yes Hannah.....I'm talking to you :) ).

that's pretty cool, ellis. I hadn't thought of that.

Is it me, or does the fundamentalist blog world seem to have slowed down in general to you also?

Well, Don....quite frankly, I'm spending so little time online these days that I haven't really noticed. I used to read about 20 - 30 blog articles each day....now I'm not so sure I even read that many in a month!

I can't speak for all the fundy bloggers out there, but my family and I tend to spend all the "extra time" we find in the summer doing "stuff" as a family....swimming, going to the lake, cooking out, hitting the park, catching a movie, etc. Blogging just keeps getting pushed further and further down the priority list....

Ellis,

That is a neat idea regarding the blogroll. Care to post about how to do this or point us to how to do this?

Thanks,

Frank

What, you mean you have a life???

I understand the priority thing. In theory anyway.

Frank,
This is simply a new tool that e-blogger offers. I'm fairly sure that WordPress has a similar tool. When you sign in to e-blogger go to your set-up page and "add page element". I think the new element is called "blogroll". From there, it's just a matter of transferring information from your favorites or from the old style blogroll you might have. I hope it doesn't disappoint you to find that I'm fairly computer illiterate! If someone else develops it, I'm just literate enough to put it to work!

Don,
As far as "having a life" is concerned, that's a matter of opinion! I've had to discipline myself to know when to stop working, studying, or even sleeping in order to spend my time appropriately. All three of our kids are ages 10 and under.....while they understand that Dad has to work and study alot, I never want them to have the impression that those things come in front of them on my priority list. So things have changed for me recently.....

BTW Frank and Don, I appreciate you both taking the time to blog. I don't get over to your blogs as much as I would like to, but I've found blogs written by men in ministry to be of immense value. Thank you both!

Thanks for the link, Ellis. I just noticed it today, and I hope I didn't miss it for awhile.
